Durres - Historic City Tour
Overview
We’ll also visit religious buildings in the castle area and discuss their past and present roles in the community. Finally, we’ll explore the Amphitheater of Durres, its surrounding houses, and the history of excavations there, from the earliest discoveries to current plans for research and preservation.

On arrival
You can reach the Venetian Tower of Durrës by walking, biking, or taxi (with free public parking available). I will be situated within the western wing of the Venetian Tower, adjacent to the Monument a Martyr, renowned as the figure with an open hand. URBAN DISCOVERIES city tours sign.
