Overview
Join me, your local guide, on this intimate 1-hour 30 min walking tour through the hidden corners of Dubrovnik’s UNESCO-listed Old Town.
Step away from the usual tourist paths and discover the real, living soul of Dubrovnik. Through narrow alleyways and secret corners, you will walk the path of a 1,050-year-old tradition — the Feast of Saint Blaise.
Celebrated continuously since 972, this is one of the oldest continuous traditions in Europe. You’ll feel how this festivity has protected the city for centuries and built a deep sense of community and pride among its people.
We’ll talk about the joyful story of Linđo — the famous Dubrovnik poskočica folk dance — and the beauty of klapa singing, the true soul of the Adriatic. I’ll share my favourite Spotify playlists so you can enjoy authentic klapa during your stay.
This tour connects three UNESCO heritage elements:
Old City of Dubrovnik (1979), Festivity of Saint Blaise (2009), Klapa singing of Dalmatia (2012).
Since the age of 12, I have been dancing with the folklore group from Župa. For the last 19 years, I have proudly carried the banner of the Parish of Mary Magdalene in the procession on Stradun.
