Overview of the tour in Delhi

The Shah Jahan Tour is the ultimate way to discover the life and times of the great Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and the enormous 1500 acre expanse of his capital – Shahjahanabad. It can be argued that during the time of its construction in the 17th century that it was among the most beautiful and prosperous cities in the world.

Now 4 centuries later the city stands as one gigantic monument resembling the past and the future, where the intensity of it along with every small detail screams for your attention. Built in this rainforest area, thick with traditional architecture - resembling Shah Jahan’s time – you will feel like you have travelled back in time as you explore famous sights such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, the Spice Market and tranquil Civil Lines, the former British colonial area as a sharp contrast to hectic Old Delhi.

On arrival

The meeting point is at one of the most famous movies house in the old city, Delite Cinema! It's located at Asaf Ali Road near Turkman Gate. Walk inside after crossing the street (few steps down) and follow the lane leading inside the parking area. Once you are there, you can’t miss the orange bicycles. Welcome!
