Overview
Day 1: Transfer Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park & Game Drive
Our driver will come to pick you up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at around 5:30 am to transfer you to Mikumi National Park, which will take about 5 to 6 hours. At Morogoro, you will get a hot launch and then do a game driver until sunset. See animals such as elephants, lions, etc. After the game drive, you will be taken to Camp Bastian for dinner, sleeping, and preparation for the next day's schedule.
Day 2: Village Tour (Maasai Culture) & Back Dar es Salaam
Early in the morning, before breakfast, you will go on a village tour to see and learn about Maasai culture. Then, go back to the lodge for breakfast and preparation to leave for Dar es Salaam. The journey will take about 5 to 6 hours. In the afternoon, you will have a packed launch.
