Along the way, your guide will explain the ingredients, preparation methods, and cultural meaning behind each bite, offering insight into how food reflects local traditions and daily life.
This tour is not just about eating, it’s about understanding Arusha’s culture through its people, markets, and street food scene. You’ll learn where locals eat, how street food fits into Tanzanian culture, and how the city’s diverse influences shape its flavors.

On arrival
MEETING TIME: 2 pm (we start at 2:10 pm)
MEETING POINT: clock tower Round about Arusha (at the post office).

TOUR PRICE: We offer it for free, but we accept donations based on your satisfaction (people donate voluntarily around $50.000 COP each). That being said, you donate what you consider the Tour was worth it
WEATHER: Our Tour is NEVER canceled due to rain. Arusha has a bipolar climate, so it changes all the time, so if it rains, don't worry ;)
BRING Runners, Sun Screen, Umbrella, Money, Rain Gear, and Sunglasses.

Things to note
FOOD COST: If you have all the food at every stop, it will cost around $10 in total per person (around 10USD). We believe in “sharing is caring”, so you can make it cheaper by sharing with your friends or with other participants :)

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
