Sacred Valley of the Incas Day Trip
Overview of the tour in Cusco
Our tour will immerse you into the beautiful local culture and will help you to understand the traditional way of life while enjoying the picturesque nature.
We’ll pick you up at your hotel to start our journey from Cusco, past the Saqsaywaman citadel and over the mountains toward the Sacred Valley. Our descent to the valley will be around 1,500 feet.
Then, we’ll head to the mysterious ruins of Pisac and explore the place while watching stunning views over the valley. You will discover the Citadel of Pisac on an approx. 90-min guided tour and see temples, homes, altars, carvings, tunnels, caves and the famous ritual stone Intihuatana (The hitching post of the sun). If you prefer to spend more time at the market instead of visiting the ruins, discuss in advance with your guide the time and place he’ll pick you up on the way back through the market.
We’ll continue our tour at Urubamba town, where you’ll stop for 45-min to have lunch (not included). Then, we’ll have a 30 min drive to Ollantaytambo, surrounded by sacred mountains.
