Between Sickles and Flavors: Gastronomic Tour of Cuenca
Overview
We will go to the following restaurants:
1) Mangana: Located in the main square, we will taste the first dish, ajoarriero, with local red wine.
2) Savbia: A little above the previous one, we will continue with our pleasant way to taste the morteruelo, typical dish par excellence of Cuenca, accompanied by a white or red wine and the delicious views that the Huécar gorge offers us.
3) Raff San Pedro: With several Repsol suns and recommended in the Michelin Guide, between the walls of the fourteenth-century and nineteenth-century stables, we will taste an excellent dish from the prism of traditional cuisine.
4) Casa Manzar: We will finish our first part of the tour in this beautiful place, where we will have a tour inside, as it was the home of José Luis Perales.
After a brief visit to the Júcar gorge, we will finish with a tasting of Cuenca's liquor and sweets.
This activity includes:
- Plaza Mayor
- Cuenca Cathedral
- Torre de Mangana

Things to note
We recommend, dear travelers, that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear, such as good hiking boots, sturdy boots, sneakers, and suitable shoes, especially in rainy weather, as it is easy to slip.
In winter, dress warmly, especially if you tend to feel cold, and in summer, opt for cool clothing, as it is usually very hot.
On rainy days, it is best to bring an umbrella. Although on this tour we will spend more time inside the restaurants than outside, it's always beneficial.
