The Patios of Cordoba attract every year millions of tourists from all over the world. We will enter one of the most characteristic and beautiful neighborhoods of Cordoba: San Basilio, where we will discover its beautiful and well-kept private patios. We will visit the patios without crowds and with the tranquility they deserve, accompanied by a guide in Spanish that will solve all your concerns and curiosities.
We will enter 5 different private houses, whose owners will kindly answer all kinds of questions about their patios. In addition, we will know which are the most characteristic flowers, the historical evolution of the Mediterranean patios, and the elements of the material culture and the daily life of Cordoba that characterize them.

On arrival
Meeting point: At the esplanade of the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos in Córdoba. You can recognize this esplanade by its numerous orange and palm trees, as well as iron benches. Look for a blue-green flag with the name Paseando por Europa.
From May 8 to 17, the meeting point for this activity will be at the Plaza de la Corredera, outside the main door of the Corredera Market (https://maps.app.goo.gl/2ffcEqNWnbpbDmGn7). The tour route may be modified due to the overcrowding of the patios during the Festival de los Patios Cordobeses, especially in the neighborhood of San Basilio.
Things to note
RELEVANT INFORMATION: From May 8 to 17, the meeting point for this activity will be at the Plaza de la Corredera, outside the main door of the Mercado de la Corredera (https://maps.app.goo.gl/2ffcEqNWnbpbDmGn7). The tour route may be modified due to the overcrowding of the patios during the Festival de los Patios Cordobeses, especially in the neighborhood of San Basilio.
- According to the rules of the courtyards, umbrellas cannot be opened inside the courtyards to avoid possible damage to the plants. We recommend you to bring a raincoat in case of rain forecast.
- Please arrive 15 minutes in advance so that the visit can begin punctually.
- Our guides will be identified with a blue-green flag or umbrella and the company logo: Paseando por Europa.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, the booking confirmation email, either printed or via cell phone or tablet.
- Admission to the five courtyards costs €5.50 per person (over 12 years old).
- Group bookings of more than 6 adults must pay €10 per adult. The maximum allowed is 3 children per adult.
- If your group is more than 6 adults and you have made several separate reservations under different names, but all for the same group, you will have to pay 10 euros per adult. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept you on the tour and the guide may ask you to leave the tour.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
