Essential Free Tour of Cordoba
Overview
During the visit, we will discover the importance of the Guadalquivir River in the development of the city, why Cordoba has an archangel as protector,r and the peculiarities of the Mosque-Cathedral, as well as what used to happen in one of its doors.
We will also learn about the feared inquisitor Lucero, what the Roman theater was like, and the shows that were held there. We will pass by the oldest tavern in Cordoba and discover its relevance to local life.
In the Plaza del Potro, we will talk about picaresque, pen and brush, remembering Cervantes and his Don Quixote. We will discover that Julio Romero de Torres was much more than the painter of the brown woman and that we can still feel the imprint of his brushes.

Meeting point: Plaza del Triunfo (door of the Roman Bridge, next to the Visitor Center). Look for a blue-green flag with the name Paseando por Europa.
End point: Plaza de la Corredera.

- Please show the guide, at the meeting point, the booking confirmation email, either printed or on a cell phone or tablet.
- What is a free tour? Free comes from the concept "free", that is, it is an urban tour with qualified guides in which you are free to set the price you want on the tour once completed, depending on your degree of satisfaction and budget.
- Group bookings of more than 6 adults have to pay 8 euros per adult. The maximum allowed is 3 children per adult.
- If your group is more than 6 adults and you have made several separate reservations under different names, but all for the same group, you will have to pay 8 euros per adult. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept you on the tour, and the guide may ask you to leave the tour.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
