Discover Córdoba: Free Tour through the Center and the Jewish Quarter

We start in the central Plaza de las Tendillas, where our guide will welcome you and give you an introduction to what we are going to discover. From there, we will start a walking tour through some of the most historic corners of Cordoba.

First stop: the Cristo de los Faroles, in the mystical Plaza de los Capuchinos. We continue to the imposing Roman Temple, next to the City Hall, testimony of the splendor of Roman Cordoba.

Then, the Plaza de la Corredera, the only major Castilian square in Andalusia and a reflection of the popular pulse. Nearby is the Plaza del Potro, full of flamenco and literary art, where the Museum of Fine Arts and the Julio Romero de Torres Museum are located.

We enter the Jewish Quarter, an emblematic neighborhood full of history. There we will discover the Calleja del Pañuelo, one of the most curious corners, and the Calle de la Hoguera, which connects us with the Islamic past.

We end at the Puerta del Puente, next to the Mosque-Cathedral and the Guadalquivir, the old entrance to the Caliphate Cordoba.
