Overview
We start the tour at the Köln Deutz station, which played a very important role during the Nazi occupation.
From there, we will go to one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the city, where, through its modern glass, we can appreciate the architectural contrasts that have occurred throughout the history of the city. We will walk to the majestic Rhine River, the flowing soul of Cologne and silent witness of centuries of history, to walk across the Hohenzollern Bridge, an engineering marvel of the twentieth century, which during World War II became a strategic point.
We continue on to the Ludwig Museum, one of the most important museums in Cologne, which was "marked" for life with one of the famous bananas.
We will walk to the imposing Cathedral, where we will talk about its darker side during the Nazi regime.
We will move on to the old museum of the city, where we will talk about its famous winged car and learn about the secrets of famous brands that supported Hitler during WWII.
We finish at the headquarters of the Gestapo, the Nazi secret police in Cologne, which today is a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.
