First Time in Catania: Have a Walk With Mirco

Overview of the tour in Catania

If you have just landed in Catania and you want to orientate yourself around the city centre, this tour is perfect for you!

In this relaxing walk, I will accompany you showing the most interesting aspects of the city centre, from the monumental streets to the nightlife streets, up to a beautiful Street Art district!

I will also tell you about the culture of Catania and Sicily in general, and give you some indications of the typical cuisine of the city.
We will slowly cross the whole center, touching the areas of the Fish Market, Castello Ursino, Via Crociferi, and the Roman Amphitheater, until we cross the streets of the Catania's nightlife.

Attention: I am a Tour Leader, not a Tour Guide, this means that I will give you significant information about what we are going to visit, without explaining the details of any monument.

My intention is to give you the right orientation within the centre so that you can cross it and live with complete autonomy

See you at the entrance of GIARDINO PACINI, in VIA DUSMET (just 1 minute further down from the cathedral square and in front of PORTA UZEDA)
I will be there in front of a big round fountain!

I want to clarify that I am a tour leader, not a guide, even if my intention in the future is to be a tour guide in all respects.
This means that I will give you significant tourist elements on what we will visit, without going into details. For this reason, during my tour, I will tell you a bit about everything, going from history to archeology, from restaurants to typical local cuisine.
