Free Tour: San Felipe de Barajas Castle
Overview
The Castillo de San Felipe was subjected to several sieges and attacks. One of the most notable was during the famous Siege of Cartagena in 1741, when British forces attempted to capture the city and were successfully repelled. The defense of the castle during this siege is considered a historical landmark and a testament to its robust defensive structure. One of the most intriguing aspects of the castle today is its intricate system of subway tunnels.

TOUR PRICE: There is no fixed price in advance, we work under tips based on your satisfaction (people voluntarily donate around $45.000 COP each), that is, you donate what you consider was worth the Tour.
WEATHER: Our Tour is NEVER cancelled due to rain. Cartagena has a hot climate although it can change, so if it rains, don't worry ;)
BRING: comfortable shoes, sunscreen, money, waterproof clothing and sunglasses.

1) We will contact you by email to confirm your participation. If you do not reply confirming your participation, we will not schedule your guide.
2) If you decided NOT TO PARTICIPATE anymore, we kindly ask you to write "CANCEL MY RESERVATION" at the bottom of the email you received from Freetour.com
3) The entrance to the Castle is purchased directly at the ticket office at the entrance. It has a value of $33.000 COP per person.
