Cartagena Local Pub Crawl in Getsemani
Overview
Explore the best local bars and clubs in the Old City and Getsemaní, taste Colombian cocktails, play fun drinking games, and dance to Caribbean rhythms guided by our professional local hosts.
We operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from Masaya Hostel, and on Wednesdays and Fridays also from El Viajero Hostel in the Historic Center.
- Mondays: Start from Masaya and visit Taboo, Seven Times, and Eivissa.
- Wednesdays: Begin at El Viajero Centro, for a lively dance class before heading to Libélula, Casa Palenque, and Eivissa.
- Fridays: Start from Masaya and El Viajero, both with bar games and dance lessons, then all groups meet and visit Eivissa, Casa Palenque, and Taboo until late at night.
Operating since 2021, this experience includes free shots, Salsa and champeta lessons, safety staff, free entries, and live music. Expect a young, friendly, and energetic atmosphere in authentic local venues that reflect the true nightlife of Cartagena. (Venues may change without prior notice.)

Meeting point (Wednesdays & Fridays): at Viajero Hostel Cartagena
IMPORTANT: Once you arrive at Viajero Hostel Cartagena or Casa Palenque Cartagena, ask for Marbeluz or Jose, our Cartagena Pub Crawl Staff by Beyond Colombia. Once you meet her, she will register you, and with your payment, she will give you our Pub Crawl Bracelet!
WEATHER: Our Tour is NEVER canceled due to rain.
Things to note
-Dress Code (Men): avoid sandals and short swim shorts; one of the clubs has this restriction code.
-A great attitude to learn all the dance moves and taste Colombian liquors.
-You must bring a copy of your passport, not the original (virtual is OK)
-The last club has a dress code: please do not wear sandals, swimming shorts, or sleeveless shirts.
-Water or your preferred form of hydration. We’ll be walking and dancing, you may feel thirsty.
-Comfortable shoes, we’ll be walking and dancing all night long.
-Comfortable clothes. There is no pressure to look fabulous; feel free to wear what makes you feel better.
-Keep your friends close and your belongings even closer. We’ll be in crowded bars, so don’t give papaya!
