Overview of the tour in Cairo

Private pickup from your hotel to begin your full-day tour to the Egyptian Museum. There, you can see a rare collection of 5,000 years of art that is considered the most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.

More than 250,000 genuine artifacts are featured, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun's collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry. An optional stop for lunch, then proceed to Visit Old Cairo, where you can enjoy the 3rd-century Hanging Church that was built with the 2 towers that remain from the Babylonian fortress Abu Serga Church, where you can see the sacred crypt, the Ben Ezra Synagogue for Jews.

Then, visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, which was built by Salah El Din in 1183 AD. C. to protect Cairo from the danger of the Crusaders. After that visit, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a man of Ottoman architecture who came especially from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849), who ruled for more than 45 years. Design but smaller, like the blue mosque of Sultan Ahmed, and back to the hotel.
