Cairo by Night Free Tour: Al-Moez, Bazaar & Sufi Show
Overview
Then we walk down the historic Al-Moez Street, filled with beautiful mosques, Islamic architecture, and stories from Cairo’s golden age.
At 6:30 PM, we head to Wekalet Al-Ghoury to secure seats for the Tanoura Show, a traditional Sufi dance performance that begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets run out fast, so early arrival is a must. While we wait, we’ll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and have a nice chat before the show begins.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the full experience (including the Tanoura show).
On all other days, you can book the guided walking tour, where we take you through the heart of Old Cairo. You'll explore the lively alleys of Khan El Khalili Bazaar, packed with local crafts, spices, and souvenirs, then walk along Al-Moez Street, home to some of the most stunning Islamic architecture in the world. The biggest open museum in the world.

Please meet your guide in front of the Gad restaurant, as it's well-known and easy to find. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Things to note
Wednesdays and Saturdays: The tour starts at 4:00 PM, with the Tanoura Show included after the walking tour.
You can also join at 6:00 PM if you're interested in the Tanoura show only.
Other Days: The tour starts at 6:00 PM, and we explore Khan El Khalili and Al-Moez Street, the world's biggest open museum.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to $50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
