Overview
Visitors gain insight into the city’s history, particularly the 19th century and the turn of the century—a glorious era for the capital. The route begins at Eötvös Square/the Intercontinental Hotel, continues along the Danube promenade, past the Redoute to Vörösmarty Square (the historic city center), and along Váci Street to the Elisabeth Bridge. During the walk, we’ll admire the view of the Danube, and guests will hear interesting legends and stories from past centuries as well as about the neighborhood’s monuments and most beautiful buildings. The tour ends right near the Elisabeth Bridge. The total length of the tour is 1.5 km.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour begins.
