In this free gastronomic tour we will visit the smells, tastes and the most delicious anecdotes of the city. We will start at the Central Market, where you will know the star products such as goose foie, mangalica pork or paprika, and we will tell you what to eat, where and why.

We will walk along Váci Utca, the most gastronomic street of Budapest, and we will talk about goulash, lángos, chimney cake, Jewish traditions, and communist cuisine.

We finish in the most bohemian area of the city, next to Galeries Paris and Café Central, where you will learn about the pastries of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the most famous literary cafes.

Hungarian gastronomy is a gateway to its history, and this tour is ideal to get to know it in a different, fun and very appetizing way. Did you know that Tokaj wine was nicknamed "the wine of kings"? Or that in Hungary there was an official communist recipe book?

Plus, you'll take away a bunch of recommendations to keep eating like a local.
