Essential Free Bike Tour of Budapest
Overview
This is a great tour to start your discovery after arriving in Budapest. You'll be led by one of our enthusiastic local tour guides, who will take you around the city on lightweight trekking bikes to show you famous landmarks as well as some lesser-known gems that you'll likely miss on your own. We'll explore several iconic spots to show you the best side of this city we love. We'll travel almost exclusively on bike lanes, taking you to landmarks such as the Parliament or St. Stephen's Basilica. Stopping to take in the panoramic view from the bank of the Danube, and the clean air of traffic-restricted Margaret Island.
Important information:
- The tour takes place with a minimum of 3 participants. If fewer people show up, the tour can start if the participants agree to pitch in a total of €40 to cover your guide.
- You can choose to ride an electric bike during the tour, for an extra charge of €20 (depending on availability)

The tour will start from the E-Magine Tours Budapest shop located at 16 Várkert rakpart, on the side of the building facing the river.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time.
The tour ends at the same location.

Please remember to bring water and sunscreen! Helmets and bicycles will be provided (helmets are optional).
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
