What could be better than a city walk in Budapest? A city walk in Budapest in the evening! When the sun goes down and the festive lighting of the magnificent buildings comes on, you see the Danube metropolis with different eyes. And another big advantage: there are far fewer people out and about in the evening, so you can avoid the crowds in the city's well-known places.
The walk leads along the Danube and shows the illuminated sights on both the Buda and the Pest side: the century-old buildings of the Central Market Hall and the Gellért Baths, the newly restored Liberty Bridge, the Liberty Monument towering over the city, the elegant Elisabeth Bridge, the Music Palace of the Pest Redoubt, the fully illuminated Chain Bridge and the magnificent Gresham Palace. We then reach the Parliament building before traveling by public transport to the Buda Castle District, where we view the historic old town from Matthias Church / Fisherman's Bastion to the Royal Palace in the evening light.
Of course, there are not only plenty of photo opportunities, but also beautiful, romantic, bizarre and sometimes scary stories about the capital of Hungary.

Things to note
As we take various routes (by streetcar along the Danube, by subway + bus up the Burgberg) using public transport, you will need tickets (NOT included in the price!). If you wish, we can get them from the ticket machine at the beginning of the tour.
Please note that we will not find any open public toilets at this time of day!
