History Meets Instagram: Bucharest Free Tour of Cotroceni Neighborhood
Overview
The idea of this tour is:
1) Show you some very beautiful ig-worthy houses.
2) Learn about the history of this neighborhood, its houses, and the events that shaped it to look like this today.
3) Get your step count up #health :)
All this while staying in the shade, so it's a tour you can also do in the summer.

Bucharest is not only Old Town, Therme, and the Palace of Parliament (but those are nice, too)
The itinerary contains, but is not limited to: the Faculty of Medicine, the Cotroceni Palace (outside only), the Steps of Happiness, the Gagel House, the "House with Lions," but we will see other interesting places along the way.

- Infinitea
- Romniceanu Park
- "Costache Negri" Fountain
On arrival
I will be in front of the Faculty of Medicine, just in front of the statue of Carol Davila. I will almost always have a backpack on me. The street is almost always empty; you will have no problem finding me. Check out the 2nd picture of the tour to see the statue.
Things to note
The tour will take place in normal weather conditions, even in light rain.
If the weather conditions are unsuitable for you please contact me so we can reschedule or cancel.
If you will not contact me I will be there waiting regardless of the weather, so please, have this in mind :-).
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
