Overview
On this tour we will visit the most important points of Bologna while discovering the stories and curiosities that give the city its identity.
We will start in Piazza Maggiore, in front of the Basilica of San Petronio, to understand the role of the city in the Middle Ages and its relationship with the civil and religious power. From there we will go to the Fontana del Nettuno and the Palazzo del Re Enzo, exploring some of its most curious details.
We will continue to the Archiginnasio, seat of the oldest university in the West, and walk through the Quadrilatero to learn about Bolognese daily life and gastronomic tradition.
Then we will reach the famous Due Torri, symbol of the medieval past, and continue to some of the best kept secrets of the city.
We will end at the Santo Stefano complex and its seven churches, a unique space that reflects the history and spirituality of Bologna.
All accompanied by history, anecdotes, curiosities and a good dose of humor, so that you not only see the city, but really understand it.
