We will meet at the appointed time at the Lagriasm Palace (Trännenpalast) in front of Friedrichsstrasse station.
We will start our tour on the famous Oranienburger Straße, a street that was home to the Jewish community in the late 19th and early 20th century. We will pause at the impressive art nouveau courtyard complex known as Hackesche Höfe.
We'll head to Kotti, one of the city's most vibrant and multicultural neighborhoods. Here, you will find punk bars, nightclubs and some of the best Turkish food restaurants.
We will move to the Kreuzberg district to admire the famous graffiti "Astronaut Cosmonaut" by Victor Ash, a work that has a visual impact related to the war. Afterwards, we will discover Oranienstraße, a favorite meeting place for young people, before strolling along the Bethaniendamm to Baumhaus.
Then we will head to the Yaam market, where we can explore the African food stalls and enjoy live reggae.
We will conclude our guided tour of alternative Berlin by admiring the more than 100 murals that make up the East Side Gallery.
