Old Town Berlin Tour: Museum Island And Monumental Squares
Overview
But before it became a major European capital, Berlin was a city on the fringes of history.
We will walk along the Spree through the historic center to discover how this city grew over the centuries: from its medieval origins to the capital of the Prussian monarchy.
The route also allows us to observe how this space has transformed over time: alongside traces of the medieval city and the royal capital we will encounter some of the most recognizable symbols of contemporary Berlin.
The best way to start learning about Berlin from its origins and the places that tell its story.
