Belgrade: Street Art & Urban Culture Tour
Overview
Depending on your preference and the group’s pace, the tour can be done using public transport, car, or bicycles. Public transport offers an authentic local experience and flexibility to reach different districts, while a car allows faster access to more distant mural spots. Cycling is ideal for those who want a more active and immersive urban exploration.
Along the way, you will explore well-known street art zones as well as lesser-known hidden corners filled with spontaneous urban expression. You will learn about local and international artists, the meaning behind selected works, and how Belgrade’s street art reflects social, political, and cultural changes in the city.
This tour is designed for travelers who want to see a different side of Belgrade beyond traditional landmarks, combining creativity, local life, and urban exploration into one experience.
This activity includes:
- Silosi
- Zemun farmers market
- Dorćol Platz
- Novi Beograd
Our Guides
On arrival
The meeting point for this tour is **KC Grad (Kulturni Centar Grad)**, located in the Savamala district, one of Belgrade’s most creative and artistic neighborhoods.
KC Grad is easy to reach by public transport, taxi, or on foot from the city center. If arriving by tram or bus, get off near **Brankov Bridge** or **Zeleni Venac**, then walk down into Savamala following signs toward the river. The venue is located close to the Sava riverfront in a well-known cultural and nightlife area.
Your guide will be waiting near the entrance of KC Grad a few minutes before the scheduled start time. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth departure and group organization.
Things to note
Please note that this is an outdoor walking tour focused on street art and urban exploration, so comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Parts of the tour may include uneven surfaces, short walks between neighborhoods, and optional use of public transport, bicycles, or taxis depending on group preference and conditions.
The route and transport method can be adjusted based on the group’s interests, pace, and weather. Public transport tickets or transport costs (if using bus, tram, metro, or bicycle rental) are not included and should be prepared in advance.
We recommend bringing water, especially during warmer months, and a charged phone or camera to capture murals and graffiti along the way. The full experience typically lasts around 2.5 to 4 hours depending on the chosen route and exploration time at each location.
The tour is flexible and designed to showcase both famous street art spots and hidden local gems across different parts of Belgrade.
