8:10 : Visit Tiananmen Square
Receive a “hello” from your warm-hearted guide and fellow travelers and maybe engage in small talk to introduce ourselves. Then, we will walk a few minutes to Tiananmen Square.
When talking about Tiananmen Square, we are talking about the heart of Beijing, the largest city square in the world. We will start from the south and go to the north and stop here and there to admire the monuments. You will see Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall, the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, and the National Museum of China.
9:00 : Visit Forbidden City
We will spend three hours or so exploring the main buildings, centering upon the central axis, which splits the entire compound into two symmetrical halves. After the trip is completed, you will find yourself near the North Gate of the Forbidden City. It’s your choice to leave with your guide or take advantage of your ticket to linger inside longer to explore the Imperial Garden for more photos.

Transportation: Take a taxi there from your hotel, with the address in Chinese provided by our travel consultant. Or take subway line 2, get out of the Qianmen stop from the Exit C, and walk a few minutes there.

Public Holidays: Please aware there will be large crowds and heavy traffic in Chinese public holidays like May Day from May 1st to 5th and National Day from Oct 1st to 7th. We will do the best to arrange the tour.
Infant: For an infant under 3 years old, this tour is free of charge.
Schedule: The meeting time is fixed, but the detailed sightseeing schedule is for your reference.
