As the largest of Beijing's imperial religious building complexes, the Temple of Heaven is known for its rigorous symbolic layout, peculiar structure, and magnificent decoration.
It is the most representative example of Chinese ritual architecture. Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (from 1420 to 1900) worshiped the god of heaven and prayed for good harvests there.
It’s a good idea to book your tickets in advance, particularly in peak season. Choose your preferred date and time slot for the visit, and your tickets will be sent to your email. When you arrive at the Temple of Heaven, you’ll be able to enter without delay by scanning the QR code(Please make sure to bring a passport during your visit).

With this QR code, you can enter anytime between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm (temples inside open between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, stop letting tourists enter at 4:00 pm)
