Overview
Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your Beijing City hotel and head directly to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours, your tour guide will explain the history and stories along the way. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Upon arrival, follow your tour guide to take the ski lift or cable car to the Great Wall. Spend some free time to hike up and down to explore different beacons and watchtowers, gain deep insight into the history of this magnificent wall. When you are ready to leave, take the fun toboggan ride down to the ground, you also can choose to take the ski lift/cable car.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in China. Stroll around the courtyards and halls with your tour guide and learn many interesting stories and histories behind them. Get to know the famous Dragon Lady who was controlled at the end of the Qing Dynasty.
After the tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
