Overview
It is an exciting day as you will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, an ancient wonder of the world and China’s iconic site. We will pick you up at the meeting point in downtown Beijing in the afternoon. It will take us about 1.5 hours to reach the site, assuming no traffic jams.
Spend some time exploring, take plenty of photos, and learn the history of this mighty landmark. We will take the cable car up to the Great Wall, hiking along the top of the wall for about 2.5 hours, along a section most visited by tourists and one of the most original parts of the Wall. Take in the scenery of the structure snaking through the hills, almost endlessly into the distance.
The scenic area offers a variety of entertainment activities, with live band performances, traditional Chinese musical instruments, Guzheng performances, Hanfu dances, etc., every day on the wall.
We leave for downtown Beijing around 8 p.m.
