FREETOUR.com says

One of the most striking things about Barcelona is its unique and wonderful architecture, just one example of the charming and attractive elements of Barcelona thanks to the Modernist movement of the 19th Century. This free walking tour covers Modernism and the city by exploring the art, history, literature, music and, of course, architecture of the period as well as a close look at the most celebrated proponent of modernism in Barcelona, Gaudi. It is a thoroughly enjoyable and revealing tour, guaranteed to keep your interest and wonder throughout as you discover many details and secrets of the city which you would very likely not find without a local to show you. The guides are, as ever, passionate and very, very knowledgeable and deliver a fantastic tour with fervour and enthusiasm. It's an excellent way to gain a better understanding of an intrinsic part of beautiful Barcelona and authentic local culture and easily earns our recommendation.

On our Free Gaudi Walking Tour you'll learn all about the 19th Century in Barcelona, the most influential city on the Mediterranean coast, welcomed the Modernist Movement with open arms. What began to emerge was the reflection of Catalan cultural values in music, literature, painting, creating, art-nouveau & above all, architecture. The most significant of all, Gaudi.
