How to Find the Meeting Point:
Our tour begins at Sabir’s Statue in Sabir’s Garden, right next to the Old City walls. Sabir’s Garden is a small park located between the Icherisheher Metro Station and the entrance to the Old City (near the Double Gates).
By Foot: If you are already in the city center (Fountains Square or Nizami Street), it’s about a 10 minute walk towards the Old City.
Look for a statue of a seated man holding a book—that’s Sabir, Azerbaijan’s famous poet.
