The tour starts at Icherisheher Metro Station, located in the heart of Baku’s Old City. Look for the Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev Statue, which stands prominently just outside the metro exit in an open square. The statue honors one of Azerbaijan’s most influential oil magnates and philanthropists, and it’s highly visible, making it easy for guests to locate. This central, easily accessible spot is ideal for beginning your walking tour, and it provides a clear reference point for everyone to gather. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start and have time to meet your guide before the tour begins. I won’t have a sign, but I’ll be waiting by the fountain and happy to greet you with a smile!
