From Gods to Graffiti: Ruins & Modern Murals Free Tour in Athens
Overview
The journey beings in Psyrri, the city’s urban art heart, where world-renowned street artists like WD (Wild Drawing), Sonke, and INO have turned walls into open-air galleries. You’ll explore alleys filled with murals, poetic stencils, and community projects, a symbol of rebirth and creativity after the crisis years.
Along the way, your guide connects myth and modernity — revealing how Athena’s owl, Hermes’ wings, and Hephaestus’ fire still echo through today’s street art. This is not just a walk through the city — it’s a dialogue between gods and graffiti, marble and spray paint, past and present.
Please note that this is a non-private tour, and you should expect a multilingual group.
