Overview
Our first stop is in front of the Old National Library, which, together with the Kapodistrian University and the Academy of Athens, forms the well-known "Neoclassical Triad"
Our walk continues to the Parliament, where we will be surprised by the changing of the guard of the Evzones, the peculiar Hellenic Presidential Guard. Afterwards, we will learn about the close and historical relationship of the city with the Olympic Games through the Záppeion.
We will discover Plaka, the oldest area of the Greek capital, and move on to the Roman Agora, a place full of history and archaeological remains of great value, among which the Tower of the Winds stands out for its great state of preservation.
To conclude our visit, we will descend to Monastiraki Square, the best example of synthesis of the different periods of the history of Athens in the same place.
