On arrival
I'll be waiting for you directly on the large stone staircase, just in front of the museum entrance. I'll be holding a sign or stand bearing the logo "The Athens Experience Lab" so that you can easily spot me.
How to get there: the nearest metro station is Victoria (green line 1), just a 5-minute walk away, or Omonia (red line 2 / green line 1), about a 10-minute walk. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts.
Things to note
Walking and comfort: This is a walking tour in an urban environment. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, especially in hot weather. Sunscreen and a hat are strongly recommended.
Sensitive subjects: This tour deals with sensitive political subjects (wars, conflicts and social movements). We treat these topics with respect. It is aimed at open-minded travelers and an adult audience (mature teenagers are welcome).
Respect the neighborhood: Exarcheia is a lively, bustling community. Out of respect for the inhabitants, public spaces and local culture, the rules governing photography at certain sites will be explained to you during the tour.
The "free tour" concept: This is a tip-based tour. Reservations are free, but your support enables The Athens Experience Lab to continue creating alternative content. At the end of the tour, you are free to leave a tip that reflects the value you place on the experience.
Punctuality: we start on time to respect everyone's schedule. If you're running late or can't make it, please send a message via the platform so that we don't delay the group.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
