Overview
Morning pickup at your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport by a guide from Safari & Holiday Makers, then drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes. On arrival, start with a mid-morning game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch. Continue with an afternoon drive until 16:00 hrs, then return to Arusha Town. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
Tarangire is a beautiful area stretching southeast of Lake Manyara along the Tarangire River. It has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife among the country’s national parks. Large herds of zebras, wildebeests, elephants, elands, lesser kudus, gazelles, giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, and occasionally leopards and rhinos can be seen all year round. Tarangire is also part of an extended ecosystem where animals roam freely.
