Day Trip Around the Tarangire National Park

Overview of the tour in Arusha

A day trip to Tarangire National Park in Tanzania offers a chance to explore diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and diverse bird species. The park is known for its baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts numerous animals, especially during the dry season (July to October).

Tour Itinerary:
-5:30 AM - Departure from Arusha or nearby accommodation.

-7:00 AM - Arrival at Tarangire National Park's gate, where entry fees are paid, and the day's activities are discussed with the park ranger.

-7:30 AM - Begin the game drive through the park. Tarangire is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and various bird species.

-12:30 PM - Picnic lunch at a designated area within the park. Enjoy the serene surroundings and wildlife sightings during the break.

-1:30 PM - Continue the game drive, exploring different areas of the park.

-4:00 PM - Depart from the park and head back towards Arusha or your accommodation.

-6:00 PM - Arrival back in Arusha or at your accommodation, marking the end of the day trip.

On arrival

We will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport (an extra transfer fee is required), or we can pick you up at Selous Street, near Union Coffee Shop Moshi, to start your tour.

This tour excludes transfers from/to Kilimanjaro Airport unless you add a 60$ transfer fee.
This tour starts and ends at Selous Street, Moshi, Tanzania.
