Overview
After breakfast, your Driver will pick you up for the 1.5-hour drive from Arusha to Chemka Hotspring via Arusha-Moshi Road. Initially, on a paved road, the journey transitions to gravel after about an hour, leading through stunning African countryside with bushland, dry riverbeds, baobab, and acacia trees.
Upon reaching Kikuletwa, it resembles an oasis amid sprawling fig trees in the semi-arid landscape. Crystal-clear water bubbles from underground caves, earning it the name "Hot Springs." Take a refreshing dip if you bring your bathing suit and relax in the shade.
After a picnic lunch, we'll return to Moshi via gravel roads, passing Kilavu River and sugar cane plantations, before arriving back in Arusha late afternoon.
