Amsterdam - The World's Playground
Overview
Amsterdam is a very special city - it has always been very open and tolerant, but at the same time protective of its residents. I want to show you why the people of Amsterdam are bold and confident, what kind of life they lead today, and why. We will talk about the famous tolerance and openness that Amsterdam is famous for.
I would love to tell you about all those events in the past that shaped the city as it is today. Why do so many people come here to play, and what are the consequences? I will also tell you about the current problems we're struggling with.
This activity includes:
- Centraal Station
On arrival
I will be standing in front of the central station, NOT the waterfront side, holding a pink folder and a white umbrella with hearts on it.
Things to note
I will inform you if we are to expect any interesting weather conditions - let's face it, it is the Netherlands, everything is possible.
ATTENTION: If your group is larger than the booking you’ve made, please let me know in advance. We can try to work it out. Otherwise, I might not be able to accept a large group - there are limited numbers of people who can legally participate in the walk.
If you cannot make it, PLEASE cancel your reservation :)
Also, there are not a lot of public toilets in the center, so make sure you’re all ready for a 2.5-hour walk
