Overview
Did you come to Zagreb to get to know it better? Well, did you know that in the past, Zagreb developed from two medieval towns, Gradec and Kaptol? If you want to discover more history, let me guide you through both of them!
In Gradec, you will discover its beauties like the old handicraft street Radićeva, the Stone Gate, St. Mark's Church, the Tower with the cannon, and the Museum of Broken Relations - the only one in the world of that kind. I will also share some legends. Through the Bloody Bridge, we will pass to another town from the medieval times, Kaptol, where you will see the second oldest street, Taklčićeva, the belly of the city - the Dolac market and the highest church: the Zagreb Cathedral.
Besides telling you the history of my Zagreb, I will tell you about the legends, life, and customs of local people and give you recommendations for restaurants, souvenir stores, and other places to visit in my hometown :)
I want each of you to feel that special spirit that Zagreb has and wish to come back again :)
