Overview

Did you know that Jews in pre-war Warsaw accounted for over 30% of the city's population? Did you know that the inventor of Esperanto lived here? Do you know where the Warsaw Ghetto was? If you’d like to find out, come to our Jewish Warsaw free walking tour.

We’ll show you the fascinating yet dramatic story of the Jews in Warsaw and tell you how the present Jewish community is making its way back to Warsaw after all the turbulent times. (And if you knew the answer to all the questions, we guarantee our guides will tell you much more!)

Things to note

LATE ARRIVAL
Please note that every guide does a 15-minute introduction at the starting point. If you are 15–30 minutes late, head to the small lake in Krasinski Garden and look for the group near the lake. Please don't message/call us, as the guide will be busy guiding and won't be able to respond.

VIRTUAL TOUR
As your Warsaw trip is approaching, find "Orange Umbrella Free Tour Warsaw" on Facebook for an amazing virtual tour of Warsaw: every day we post photographs showing how Warsaw looked in the past and how it looks today with English descriptions.

CASH AND CARD PAYMENTS
Our guides accept tips in cash (PLN, EUR, USD, GBP), and most of us can also process card transfers.
