Overview
We meet on the outskirts of Vienna at the Paradisgasse/Kaasgrabengasse tram stop, two stops before the terminus of streetcar line 38 towards Grinzing, before the vineyards begin.
The easy hike leads along longer and narrower paths through the middle of Vienna's vineyards. We pass small wine taverns where you can eat typical Viennese snacks and buy and taste a variety of Viennese wines (by the glass).
The goal is a panoramic view of the city with its beautiful buildings and the Danube, all the way to the foothills of the Alps. You will learn personal experiences and knowledge about the city, the vineyards, the wines and life in Vienna.
We walk in small groups and pace ourselves according to the most comfortable walker.
Please bring good walking shoes, rain protection, a jacket or sweater and a full water bottle.
