Free Tour: Vienna City Center Walking Tour
Overview
At the appointed time, we will start the tour at Maria Theresa Square (Maria-Theresien-Platz), between the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History, from where we will explore the most monumental corners of the city.
During the tour, we will talk about the history of Austria and its capital, as well as the Habsburg dynasty, which ruled over much of Central Europe for more than 600 years.
You will also learn about Vienna's importance in the world of classical music and opera and, of course, discover Austria's gastronomic culture, including its famous coffee houses, which were once a meeting place for philosophers, writers, and artists of the time.
After two and a quarter hours, we will end the tour at the emblematic St. Stephen's Square (Stephansplatz).

Look for the orange umbrella, right in front of the large monument of Maria Theresa, between the Museum of Art History and the Natural History Museum.

Things to note
- The tour takes place in all weather conditions, so bring appropriate clothing.
- It is not necessary to print the reservation, you can show it on your cell phone.
- In case you are a group of 7 or more people, even in separate reservations, you will have to pay the guide a minimum of 15€ per person at the beginning of the tour.
