Explore the famous ghats and hidden corners of the old city while learning about the history, spirituality, traditions and everyday life of Varanasi. Along the way, we will visit hidden temples, experience local culture and food, discover fascinating stories, and enjoy beautiful views of the Ganges.
The tour may include Darbhanga Ghat, BrijRama Palace area, ancient lanes, hidden temples, Nepali Temple, an underground temple, Manikarnika Ghat and other interesting places depending on the walking route and local conditions.
This is more than a sightseeing tour. It is an opportunity to experience authentic Kashi, understand its traditions and see Varanasi through the eyes of a local.
On arrival
Please meet me at the main entrance of BrijRama Palace, near Darbhanga Ghat. The meeting point is easy to find and accessible by auto-rickshaw or taxi. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts. If you have any difficulty finding the meeting point, please contact me by phone or WhatsApp and I will guide you.
Things to note
This is a walking tour through the old streets and ghats of Varanasi, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Please carry drinking water and be prepared for narrow lanes and uneven streets. Modest clothing is recommended when visiting temples. Please arrive on time so we can enjoy the complete experience.
