Overview
The tour begins in Downtown Vancouver. Your Guide will drive the tour van slowly through Stanley Park and show you the park highlights. Then, usually cross over the majestic Lions Gate Bridge and reach the trailhead of the Grouse Grind.
This 2km height covers 800 m of elevation. While it is not technical, you will be sufficiently tired when reaching the top - and also filled with the feeling of accomplishment. If you struggle with the hike, you can purchase a gondola ticket for the way up - at least you gave it a try.
The mountaintop offers great views, a cafeteria, a habitat with our two grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola, and, with some luck, you catch a birds of prey show or lumberjack show. For the way down, you will use the gondola; the down ticket is included in the tour.
Next, your Guide brings you to Lynn Canyon. Visit the ecology center or the cafeteria, then cross over the rugged canyon using the suspension bridge. On hot summer days, you will feel the cooling mist of the creek below that makes this place the most lush place around. A short hike to Twin Falls concludes the tour.
