Valletta Tour: Discovering the Capital of the Knights of Malta

Overview of the tour in Valletta

Getting to know the history of a new place can become a mess of dates and names that are soon forgotten, but that is not the case with what you will discover on this tour of Valletta.

The main access to the capital of Malta is pedestrian, so you will not find it difficult to find the place where we will start our tour: the arcades of the Parliament of Malta (just past the access bridge to Valletta, the first building on the right hand side). This will be our meeting point for an initial tour whose aim will be to bring you closer in an original and different way to the more than 450 years of history of the city elected European Capital of Culture in 2018.

A pleasant two-hour walk in which we will enjoy the best views of the city and discover some of the most emblematic buildings of Valletta.

On arrival

The main access to the capital of Malta is pedestrian, so it will not be difficult for you to find the place where we will start our tour: the arcades of the Parliament of Malta (just across the main access bridge to the capital on the left hand side next to the Burger King).

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the tour so that we can organize the radios, as we cannot make the rest of the group wait more than the five minutes of courtesy that I always give.

Things to note

For this activity, WHICH WILL BE EXCLUSIVELY IN SPANISH, we recommend comfortable shoes, appropriate clothing according to the season, sun protection and water if you visit us in the hot months or be prepared for a downpour if you dare. Meet us from October to March (it hardly rains in Malta all year round but when it does...).

IMPORTANT: The form to be completed is a reservation request. All reservations must be validated and confirmed individually.

To reduce the noise pollution of the cities we visit and so that all the people attending the tour can hear me perfectly (regardless of the size of the group that are usually large) OUR TOURS ARE SILENT, that is to say that the explanations will be given during the tour through an FM radio station (dial 106.5). If you do not have a way to tune in to this station you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LISTEN TO ME. We have a limited number of radios, so don't hesitate to let us know so we can reserve one for you (you can use a radio between two people if you are affectionate and don't mind sharing headphones).

My commitment is to do my best so that we can enjoy a wonderful ride together and, of course, feel free to consult me before, during or after our meeting if you need advice on general questions about Malta.

We cannot accept bookings without an operational Whatsapp contact number so that we can be in touch if any last minute unforeseen circumstances arise. Any booking that does not meet this requirement will be automatically cancelled.

This is an open activity for adults of any age and physical condition, so we will do short tours mainly focused on the history of Malta and its capitals. If you are looking for a marathon tour to get to know the whole city, THIS IS NOT THE OPTION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.
