Valencia Old Town Free Tour with an Official Tour Guide

Your Guide:
My name's Kevin, I'm an American who moved to Valencia in 2018, married a Valencian, and became an official guide certified by the Valencian Government. I'm also a local influencer, making videos explaining (and poking fun at) Valencian culture. In 2 hours I show you the Valencia I actually live in.
We start in El Carme and wander the Old Town, past the Serranos Towers, the Cathedral and its Holy Grail, the UNESCO Silk Exchange, and the Mercat Central. I won't spew out random dates at you. Instead, I'll show you how the history affects the current society and culture.
We get into the Valencian language, the old Kingdom of Valencia, the food you should actually order, and the tourist traps to skip. Expect lots of jokes and honest answers.
English is my native language, and I also speak Spanish and Valencian at a C2 level. I used to be a language teacher, but now I'm a travel advisor too, so I stick around to ask any questions!

Our Guides
On arrival
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the tour start time so I can check on all attendees.
You can find your guide, Kevin, standing in the square wearing an orange, or a white-and-orange hat. He'll likely be standing in the shade underneath the tree. In the evening, a restaurant sets up chairs at the front of the square. Kevin will be standing behind them, where the benches end. There is a photo in the gallery with an orange arrow pointing at where he'll be standing.
Things to note
We'll be walking for two hours continuously. Please bring comfortable shoes, water, and sunscreen. If you have any mobility concerns, please let me know beforehand so I can make any appropriate accommodations.
The tour is provided in ENGLISH ONLY.
These "free tours" are tips-based only. This means that you can tip your tour guide in cash at the end of the tour, based on your satisfaction.
