Modern Valencia: The City Beyond the Old Town Free Tour

Join us for a walk through the modern side of Valencia, where we will both visit some of its more iconic attractions as well as many areas that most visitors don't see. Between admiring its architecture and exploring the green spaces that define the city, we’ll also uncover how Valencia experienced dictatorship, civil war, democracy, and rapid urban growth.

Along the way we will discover elegant landmarks like the Colón Market, Puerta de la Mar, the Palace of Justice, and the Central Market of Valencia. We will stroll through breathtaking parks like the famous Turia gardens, as well as El Parterre and the Glorieta gardens. We will also explore some of Valencia’s most iconic cultural traditions including art, football, and our most famous festival, Las Fallas.
