I propose a unique thematic freetour: a continuous story about the river that is no longer here, but that defines who we are. València was born along the Turia, a river that was a border, a livelihood and, often, a latent threat.
What we will discover:

- The Memory of Water: Valencia bears the scars of periodic floods that devastated neighborhoods and orchards. We will analyze the flood of 1957, the catastrophic event that changed the map of the city forever.
- From Riverbed to Garden: We will see how the diversion of the river transformed the urban center into the green lung that we cross today. Although the water no longer flows here, its history beats beneath our steps.

We meet on the steps of the Punte del Real, on the right side (facing east towards the sea), the side facing Plaza America. You will recognize me by my blue umbrella, my red coat and my blue scarf.
