Overview
Join me for a 3-hour walk through Torino’s heart, the city where I once studied, laughed, and fell in love with Italian life. We’ll explore its most iconic and authentic places: from Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Castello to the Roman Palatine Gate, Mercato Centrale, and the local farmers’ market Campagna Amica.
Along the way, I’ll share stories you won’t find online, how locals invented Bicerin, Nutella, and Martini, and where students still enjoy the cheapest bars, or where to find the most elegant cafés. We’ll pass Via Roma, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the Po River, and finish with the best city view at Monte dei Cappuccini. Expect history, humor, and a taste of real life, from royal palaces to chocolate legends.
This is a tips-based tour: there’s no fixed price, I simply do my best to make it worth your time, and at the end, you decide its value. Come curious and hungry: Torino will take care of the rest!

On arrival
Giardino Sambuy entrance (Piazza Carlo Felice side, opposite Decathlon, in front of Porta Nuova Station)
We will meet at the main gate of Giardino Sambuy, the small garden right in front of Torino Porta Nuova train station on the Piazza Carlo Felice side, just across from Decathlon.
Look for me near the entrance path to the garden, I’ll be there a few minutes before the start time.
Things to note
The tour covers about 4–5 kilometers on foot, mostly flat with a short uphill walk at the end please wear comfortable shoes.
We’ll have short stops for stories, photos, and local tastings, so no rush, just a relaxed Torino walk!
